The 19th Southern Africa Regional Climate Outlook Forum and National Climate Outlook Forum

The Nineteenth Southern Africa Regional Climate Outlook Forum (SARCOF) was held in Kinshasa, DRC from 26 to 28 August 2015 and The National Climate Outlook Forum (NACOF), was held in Harare on the 3rd of September, 2015 to present a consensus outlook for the 2015/2016 rainfall season over the SADC region and Zimbabwe respectively.

The two outlooks cover the major rainfall season in SADC countries and Zimbabwe three homogeneous regions, i.e. from October 2015 to March 2016. The outlooks are presented in overlapping three-monthly periods as follows: October-November- December (OND); November-December-January (NDJ); December-January-February (DJF); and January-February-March (JFM).
